Systemic perspective

Force field

We have known different systems since our childhood. We come from a father and a mother, their respective ancestors and systems and the connection between them. Soon we learn other systems by being a part of them: the crèche, the school, the youth movement, the sports club, the neighbourhood, .... Later we join systems to which we temporarily commit ourselves professionally, a team, a company, an association, .... We cannot imagine a life without the context of systems.

And all these systems have their unique dynamics, a kind of invisible and often unconscious force field that affects many of our actions, whether we like it or not. After all, reality takes place simultaneously on several layers, of which the systemic layer is one. This is also the reason why, despite all possible excellent interventions on a communicative and psychological level to deal with personal questions, solutions are often lacking, resulting in all the misunderstanding and frustration. When this occurs, we know from experience that it may be appropriate to look at the problem from a systemic perspective and find a solution by making the systemic entanglement visible. After all, when what was hidden can and may be seen, it loses its power, individuals find their rightful place, difficult issues can be accepted, the connection is restored and the system starts to flow again. Hence the systemic statement: "Recognizing what is”: a courageous attitude to life, in order to fully agree with what is.

Systemic work is an additional way of observing and acting that deserves its place alongside all other viewpoints, in order to arrive at an integrated approach.
